Create interesting and unique characters with Matt Ablan, former creative director at The Haunt. Spice up your next performance or embody your halloween costume to really scare your friends.

October 18, 5-7pm at Midwest Movement Collective

Matt has an extensive theater background. He has worked at haunted houses performing as an actor, as the Casting Manager, General Manager, and the Creative Director. He currently owns a costume business called, “Ghastly Garb,” creating monsters for haunted houses. He also creates specialty props, costumes, and puppets for local theatres.

Everyone deserves a chance to fly, so whether you’re a good witch or a bad bitch, start your spooky season by defying gravity in this wicked pole heels workshop with Audrey Heartburn.

This is a beginner-friendly workshop, but all participants should have at least some experience with basic spin pole skills and dancing/walking in heels if you choose to wear them.

Participants are encouraged to dress up and let their inner witch fly free!

Join Sommer and Alex y Jada on Saturday, November 8 for a series of 3 Sensual Bachata Foundational Workshops.

Workshops run from 3pm-6:30pm:

+ Bachata Body Movement Breakdown 3-4pm

+ Partnerwork Connection and Technique 4:15-5:15pm

+ Bachata Variations for the Social Dance Floor 5:30-6:30pm

Come back in the evening to apply what you learn at our Bachata Social Dance from 9pm-1am – included with the workshop ticket!

No partner is needed for Sensual Bachata Blueprint Workshops or social. We will be teaching proper and safe ways to connect with one another while dancing sensual bachata. Please be mindful of personal hygiene before and during the workshops. 

Sensual Bachata Blueprint workshops are intended to be progressive workshops. We highly recommend that you take all three workshops consecutively. There will be breaks in between workshops as well as práctica time in order to apply your new skills!

Come join the experience! Burlesque, and HipHop- Oh my! This workshop is designed to build dancers up, celebrate their journey- and define their own sexy!

What to bring: knee-pads are recommended

Your teacher: Creator of BurHop, Nik, has been devoted to helping others along their self love journeys for over 6 years now in Chicago. She believes sexy is not a one size fits all, and neither is choreography. “We live in very different bodies- so why should we all look the same when we move them?” Come build up confidence to last longer than an 8 count and join the experience!
