The way we move
pricing
The Way We Move is built on the belief that movement should be accessible to all while honoring the time, artistry, and labor of our instructors. To make this possible, we offer a sliding scale pricing model. This means you choose the price point that best reflects your financial reality and capacity to support.
No explanation is ever required; just choose what feels right for you. Every tier contributes to sustaining this program, whether by making space for yourself or by making space for others.
The chart below serves as a guide for students while selecting their price. BIPOC is an acronym for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color.
Celebrating black brilliance in movement with monthly donation based classes
The Way We Move series began on Juneteenth 2025 as a love letter to Black movement, offering free, accessible classes led by Black instructors across styles and traditions. The response was clear: our community is hungry and ready for spaces where Black brilliance in movement is honored, uplifted, and celebrated.
Now, The Way We Move continues each month at Midwest Movement Collective with sliding scale pricing so that everyone – regardless of financial capacity – can join. This is made possible through our Community Fund (link).
